Website of Bangladesh Poribeshbid Society opened

Bangladesh Poribeshbid Society, a national platform for all environmental graduates has launched a website to get the environmental scientists connected and focused on the environment related issues. With the rise of technology and devices, the risk of e-waste is increasing alarmingly. To address all such risks, the website of Bangladesh Poribeshbid Society has been launched with hundreds of environmental graduates from different universities. The content of the website has been arranged through timely features keeping in view the education, research and professional development of environmental graduates; Created menu, sub-menu buttons. Through this, an initiative has been taken to share video documentaries, images and publications of various events that have taken place in the society in recent times. Prof. Md. Sirajul Islam, Treasurer, Mawlana Bhasani Science and Technology University and Honorary Member, Bangladesh Poribeshbid Society inaugurated the website on April 15. The inaugural function was held at the New Cheers Restaurant, Dhanmondi in the capital and those who attended the event were Md. Arifur Rahman, Executive Director of Bangladesh Poribeshbid Society; Environmentalist Abu Jubayer (Director, Finance & Administration); Anwar Zahid (Director, Environmental Awareness); Sheikh Abu Zahid (Director, Education and Professional Development); Md. Abdul Quader Talukder (Director, Publicity and Communication); Mahmud Hasan Tuhin (Director, Environmental Rules and Regulations); Executive Members AKM Humayun Kabir, FM Ashraful Alam, Atiqur Rahman and Tanjima Haque Trisha. The content of the website has been arranged through timely features keeping in view the education, research and professional development of environmental graduates. Created menu, sub-menu button. Through this, an initiative has been taken to share video documentaries, images and publications of various recent events of the organization. The website will have login facility for all members. Through which you will get the opportunity to browse all the information including download facility. In addition, environmental graduates wishing to become members of the organization can register. After the inauguration of the website, Iftar parties were also organized at Khulna University, Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology, Patuakhali University of Science and Technology and National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam University under the banner of Environmentalist Society.
